Ms. Stacey is the Nursery Manager at Newlyn School's Stepping Stones Nursery and Pre-School, where she has dedicated eight years to the children and community. Having spent the last two years in her current leadership role, she also serves as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all. Ms. Stacey is deeply passionate about Early Years education and believes in enriching children's lives through hands-on, memorable experiences. She takes great pride in offering a variety of opportunities within the school's extensive outdoor environment, including: Forest School sessions Educational school trips Creative cooking activities When she isn’t at the nursery, Ms. Stacey enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, going on long walks with her dog, and getting lost in a good book

Mrs. Morris joined the team in February 2025 as our newly appointed Deputy Manager and has quickly become an amazing asset to our setting. She is Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education and brings specialized communication expertise as a Level 4 Makaton-trained practitioner. With a deep commitment to holistic child development, Mrs. Morris also holds a Level 2 in Early Years Neuroscience and is fully trained in Early Years Mental Health. A proud resident of Newlyn, she is passionate about her local community and enjoys spending her free time walking her dogs and being with her family.

Miss Hosking is a dedicated Nursery Practitioner and a vital part of the Stepping Stones team. She is Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education and brings a wealth of passion to her role every day. She is particularly enthusiastic about creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences and loves leading sensory and messy play activities that allow children to explore and learn through their senses. In her spare time, Miss Hosking enjoys relaxing with her family and spending time with her four cats.

Mrs. Michelle Buckley is a highly experienced Nursery Practitioner who has been a cornerstone of the Stepping Stones team for 15 years. She is Level 2 qualified in Early Years Education and is deeply passionate about supporting children's development through creative play. Known as the team’s Story Dough specialist, Michelle excels at bringing stories to life through sensory exploration, helping children develop their imagination and language skills in a fun, tactile way. Outside of the nursery, Michelle loves spending quality time with her family and enjoys going for long walks.

Mrs. Harris is a dedicated member of our Stepping Stones team and is currently working toward her Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. She is incredibly passionate about supporting early literacy and is a key enthusiast for our Drawing Club and phonics sessions. Mrs. Harris loves using these creative programs to immerse children in the magic of storytelling while helping them build the foundational skills needed for reading and writing. Outside of her professional training, Mrs. Harris is a busy mum who loves spending her free time with her four daughters.
