The Stepping Stones Experience
  • Partnership with Parents: Every child is assigned a key worker who builds a trusting, supportive relationship with both the child and their family. We work closely with you to ensure your child’s development follows their unique interests.
  • Incredible Outdoor Environment: We are incredibly lucky to have an on-site Forest School with specialist staff. Once a week, children explore the natural world, gaining confidence and learning new skills in the fresh air.
  • Holistic Growth: Our goal is to provide meaningful, enjoyable experiences that allow every child to flourish within our local Newlyn community.
We invite you to explore our extensive outdoor spaces and see how our team provides an incredible start to your child's educational journey.

Drawing Club

Drawing Club allows the children to experience a stories adventure with the concept to bring the world of story's to life. It will give the children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of story and show them the joy of drawing. Teachers will get to share a treasure trove of vocabulary with children to open up the playground of language to them. It allows opportunity to develop children’s creativity and imagination to show them that they are extraordinary. The children will have there own drawing club book that they will use throughout the year and then will get to take home at the end of the year.

Little Wandle: Building the foundations of reading

This will give your child a flying start with phonics. This programme has been developed in a range of settings by a range of practitioners. It incorporates the latest research about early language and literacy development so you can trust that your child is getting the very best start to developing a love of learning, and enhancing their communication skills.

Early Talk Boost

Early Talk Boost is a targeted programme aimed at 3-4 year old children who need guidance and targeted support with talking and understanding words. Most importantly, the programme helps to boost their language skills and build confidence. The programme aims to accelerate children’s progress in language and communication by an average of 5 months after 9 weeks.

Tooth Brush Club

Big Brush Club, a service provided by At Home Dental, who are committed to improving children’s oral health. This brilliant supervised toothbrushing programme supports 3 to 5-year-olds attending reception, nursery, or preschool.

In accordance with the NHS’ supervised toothbrushing initiative, we support oral health in the classroom setting. The aim of the programme is for every child to brush their teeth with fluoride toothpaste once a day and ideally twice a day at home too! Teaching good brushing routines from an early age helps reduce oral health inequalities among children.
