Inter House Sports 2019/20
Inter House Football Results - Round 3
The final round of matches saw a tight game between Longships and Trawlers end in a 0 - 0 draw, while drifters defeated Sloops by 3 goals to nil.
Final League Table
1st Longships - 8 points
2nd Trawlers - 7 points
3rd Drifters - 6 points
4th Sloops - 3 points
Inter House Football Results - Round 2
The second round games were played in terrible conditions with the players playing through rain and hail storms. Despite this, the players battled on and produced some excellent football. Drifters drew 0 - 0 with Trawlers whilst Longships narrowly beat Sloops 3 - 2. Still all to play for in the final round, with overall victory still in nearly everyone’s grasp.
Inter House Football Results - Round 1
The first round of games saw Drifters take on Longships and Sloops against Trawlers. It was fantastic to see 29 children turn up to represent their House Team and both matches were hard fought and well matched. The first game finished 3 - 0 to Longships whilst in the second game Trawlers ran out as winners with a score of 3 - 1. Well done to everyone who played.
Inter House Cross Country Results
The first Inter House Competition of the year saw 50 children turn out to represent their House Team for Cross Country. With races in each Year group from Year 1 to Year 6, the honours were shared pretty evenly across all the 4 House Teams. With 5 points awarded to the winning team in each race and 3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd and 1 point for 4th, the overall result was:
1st - Sloops 23 pts
2nd - Drifters 19 pts
3rd - Trawlers 13 pts
4th - Longships 11 pts
Well done to everyone who raced.
