Watoto Choir from Uganda
15th May 2015
We have the honour to host a concert for the Watoto choir from Uganda on Friday 15th May at 2.00pm at the Methodist Church in Chapel Street, Penzance. The choir, made up entirely from orphaned children from Uganda, are touring England to raise money for their school and community. The choir come with stories and song, and this promises to be a wonderful concert. We are asking for a donation of £1.00 per family to watch this performance, and all proceeds go towards helping this community. Parents are invited to the evening performance at the Methodist Church on the Friday evening; details to follow.
The Watoto choir entertained our whole school and two other invited schools. The group wowed the audience with their joyful songs, super dancing and their bright smiley faces.
