The Children's Cooking Demonstration
28th August 2017
Sanjay, our renowned chef from the School of Cornish Sardines, was helped in a cooking demonstration by Josh, Lucas, Kacey and Mia. They collected the lobsters from Harvey's Shop in Newlyn and stored them safely in the refrigerator before the demo. On stage they assisted in creating some delicious lobster finger rolls, showing everyone the ease and simplicity of cooking with shellfish. Samples of their cooking was passed out to the audience afterwards.
The children also had the experience of being interviewed live on BBC Radio Cornwall by Lawrence Reed.
A big THANK YOU to Sanjay for his time, experience and encouragement that he gives to the children.
