Classes 3,4 and 5 Swim Safe

6th July 2016

The juniors from Newlyn School were invited to free beach safely lessons at the Jubilee Pool. Organised and ran by the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) and RNLI, children were taught how to be safe on the beach and then they were given practical lessons in the water. Wet suits, swim hats and vests were supplied so that the children could make the most of the opportunity.
All the children had a great time and were particularly lucky with the weather. On leaving the children were each given a goody bag that included entry back into the Jubilee Pool with their family.
The children would like to thank all the instructors for such wonderful, rewarding sessions, and the Jubilee Pool for hosting these important events.
