Class 3 Grandparents Tea & Biscuit Afternoon
8th December 2016
During the Autumn term, the children of Class 3 have been trying to answer their essential learning question, 'What is our role in the Universe?' This involved looking back in history to the Stone Age, looking at our responsibilities for looking after others and then looking to the future, including space. As a part of our final event we decided to invite all their grandparents and elderly people within our community for an afternoon to share a cup of tea and some biscuits. To finish the occasion we went outside and buried our time capsule and planted an elder tree on top.
We hope that it will be dug up many years in the future and give those who find it some ideas about our discoveries.
